ABOUT THE EVENT
This workshop hosted by the CAST

Creating more inclusive STEM experiences is key to increasing the participation of underrepresented groups in STEM learning and careers. During this workshop you will learn about and apply the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), a framework for optimizing learning experiences so that they work for everyone. With UDL, you will be able to address the variability in motivation, knowledge and skills we know exists in an increasingly diverse learner population. You will learn about accessibility and design best practices to address this variability, including co-design as an approach for developing more responsive, learner-centered resources that support engagement, participation and progress for all learners.
