Oakton College offers a certificate program that prepares students to safely operate small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS). Students will be able to articulate and demonstrate competency in the regulations and procedures of legal sUAS operations in both recreational and commercial drone flight. Additionally, students will have the ability to certify as recreational and commercial drone pilots under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST) and PART 107 examinations.
