Kean University has a minor in “Drone Piloting and Applications.” The minor consists of two courses specifically for drones. One course is focused on laws and regulations, flight physics, and hands-on drone time. The other course consists of using the drones in real-world situations, including creating flight plans, executing flights, mapping, and data processing, along with drone construction and repair. The minor is completed through courses focused on using drones in the environmental or emergency management field.
