Central Michigan University’s Drone Center enables applied drone use for students in their respective field of study. The center prepares students for careers where uncrewed aircraft systems effectively and safely enhances day-to-day tasks as well as research initiatives. Concurrently the center provides Central Michigan University faculty and staff with the knowledge and tools to enhance their research with the addition of uncrewed aircraft systems. The center currently offers more than 30 drones for hands on flight, training for Part 107 certification and industry specific courses.
