Service Learning Mini-Grant Proposal Review Rubric
What is Service Learning?
Service learning is defined as: a high-impact learning experience which occurs when students apply what they have learned (in their education) in a technical environment with a community/industry partner to solve real-world problems. This active engagement approach supports the growth of the student as a professional, allowing them to apply their newly acquired skillset while strengthening meaningful partnerships between education, industry, and the community (Kinzie, 2012).
