The National Geospatial Technology Center of Excellence (GeoTech Center) is located at Jefferson Community and Technical College with offices on the Southwest Campus in Louisville, Kentucky, with members of the team located across the country. The GeoTech Center produced the Geospatial Technology Competency Model (GTCM) for the U.S. Department of Labor and has created ten model courses based and dozens of concept modules for educators. The GeoTech Center is also known for their annual GeoEd Conference, regional workshops, virtual learning opportunities and webinars.
