ABOUT THE EVENT
The University of North Dakota is joining in on the national push for drone safety and awareness by hosting a Drone Safety Day (DSD). DSD is the FAA’s annual campaign dedicated to educating the drone community of the importance of flying safely. DSD will highlight the societal, economic, and safety benefits of safe drone operations with an in-person event in focus areas such as Education, Economics, Equity, Environment, and Emergencies.
Drone Safety Day, previously known as National Drone Safety Awareness Week, is returning for its fifth consecutive year on Saturday, April 29, 2023
The safety message for the 2023 Drone Safety Day is “Fly RIGHT” – it's the safe way to fly.
