Pam Oakes is a fourth-generation automotive professional and forensic expert witness with more than 35 years in the industry.
She spent the past 11 years in applications engineering and technical training with OE/Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers. Before that, she
owned (start-up) a 20-year automotive center, Pam’s Motor City Automotive & Tires; twice nationally recognized repair shop in
Fort Myers, Florida.

As an ASE Master Technician with L4 ADAS certification, she was one of the SMEs who developed ASE’s original L4 ADAS
exam. She is also a voting in several subcommittees of the SAE International’s ADAS Sensor Calibration Task Force. She
developed and taught more than ten technical courses for various Tier 1/Tier2 companies; taught more than 1,000 automotive
technical and business courses to live and virtual audiences, and module-formatted courses.

Her forensic practice, Driven Evidence, provides expert witness analysis of ADAS calibration, crash data, repair quality, shop
standards, and Magnuson-Moss/lemon law matters nationwide.

Oakes’ other company, Driven Evidence-iQ, compliments Driven Evidence as it is the forensic software she created that
supports repair/collision analysis and ADAS calibration – and won a 2026 MOTOR Top-20 Tool award (ADAS2Alignment, a
shop spin-off platform). Also, her company was recently named a finalist for 2026 Tampa Bay Tech’s Tech Project of the Year.
