Mike Hanson has been an educator since 2004. He is a graduate from Mayville State University where he earned Bachelor’s in Business and Physical Education, along with Minors in Education, Technology and Coaching. Mike went on to earn a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of North Dakota in 2012.

Mike has been a Business Teacher, Coach, Assessment and Pep Grant Coordinator, Activities Director, Assistant Principal and Principal for the Grafton Public School. Currently, he is the Director at North Valley Career and Technology Center located in Grafton.

He serves on many boards, including the Grafton Booster Club, Kiwanis, Grafton Area Chamber, Marketplace for Kids, Grafton Lutheran Church, and the NDCTEA where he served as the President. Mike is married to Mandy and they have three children, Riley (20), Reagan (16), and Ryan (14).
