David Anderson is a chiropractor by training, a clinical nutritionist by passion, and an educator by design. After owning and operating several health care businesses for two decades, he transitioned to higher education and has been teaching life science courses since 2009. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern College of Chiropractic and is board certified in clinical nutrition by the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition. He was also awarded master’s degrees in Healthcare Management and Business Administration from MN School of Business/Globe University. He is currently a Biology Instructor at St. Cloud Technical & Community College.

In 2019, David began exploring how immersive technologies can impact student learning. Since then, he has led several regional grant initiatives to develop immersive classroom content and professional development opportunities for educators. These initiatives have led to the launching of the KonnectVR Project, an educational collaborative virtual reality platform with embedded assessments, and the Immersive Learning Project, which focuses on helping higher education faculty and staff learn how to implement immersive technologies.
