The Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Center created the SeaMATE Store in 2013. SeaMATE is an online store that offers beginner-to-advanced kits and other products that support the designing and building of ROVs. SeaMATE is also a social enterprise that provides community college students with workplace experience allowing them to learn many aspects of running a business, from inventory to production, accounting, and product promotion.
