FAA Drone Safety Day and Drone Class Kickoff! Thursday April 23, 2026 11:30 to 1:30
Come to the Lowery Student Center to learn about Mendocino Colleges two new drone technology classes: DRN 160: Unmanned Aircraft Vehicles and DRN 165: sUAV Procedures & Regulations.
These classes are being offered for the very first time this summer and fall sessions. Info at http://www.mendocino.edu/schedule.
In addition there will be demos of actual drones to be used in the class and other industry drones.
We also are presenting information about drone safety as part of the FAA Drone Safety Day activities.
