ABOUT THE EVENT
Welcome to the FAA Drone Safety Day - Drones & Emergencies event! The event is designed to help the drone community understand the importance of flying safely. The afternoon will highlight many aspects of drones (societal, economic, educational, etc) but will mostly focus on how they are used in emergency situations through demonstrations and hands-on interactions from Seattle Mountain Rescue.
This is also a great opportunity for schools and organizations to share how they use drones, and to share your passion with friends, family and local community in a safe area where you can fly your drone. There is also an area where drones can be safely flown (Part 107 and a FRIA zone).
