ABOUT THE EVENT
Montana Drone Safety Day is modeled after the FAA's national Drone Safety Day. The event is modeled after the FAA directives for promoting Education, Economics, Equity, the Environment, and understanding Emergencies.
This event will showcase the basics of aviation, airspace, and drones along with showing the careers, opportunities, and capabilities that drones encompass. Our target audience for this public event is a wide range - including middle school/high school students and teachers to current UAS professionals. While this event will feature the basics of drone safety and education, we also hope to cultivate a professional environment to foster the drone community in Montana.
