Unmanned Aircraft Systems Certificate
Students who successfully complete the training will receive a certification for the skills and knowledge necessary in the field of UAS airframes and aerodynamic, system designs and components, autopilot programming and fundamentals, sensors and payload operations, how to operate in National Airspace for UAS operations, and FAA UAS Regulations.
Understand the evolution of Unmanned Aircraft Systems
Be able to monitor, interpret and plan UAS missions around weather
Understand the principles of aerodynamics and flight
Know the proper procedures for operating within the National Airspace
Gain operational knowledge of various Autopilots and user interface across UAS
Be able to assess the proper sensor for industry requirements
Gain proficiency with pre-/post-flight operations and in-flight procedures
Know all of the Federal Aviation Administration Regulations that apply to Unmanned Aircraft Systems
