ABOUT THE EVENT
In the presentation we will discuss the requirement for UAS users, flying under the USC 44809 Exception, to complete the Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST) and possess proof of completion. Many UAS users are unaware that the sky is full of aircraft other than commercial airliners. When you fly your UAS you are sharing the airspace with corporate jets, helicopters, military aircraft, and thousands of other private aircraft. So, we will also explain classifications within the National Airspace System (NAS) and the regulations associated with each classification. During this presentation we will discuss the responsibilities of the UAS operator to safely fly in the NAS.
