UPCOMING EVENT
The BIG Event- Believe in Girls
ABOUT THE EVENT
The BIG Event provides science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts and educational exhibits to Girl Scouts, their families, and the community. Local organizations are invited to host a booth and provide hands-on, minds-on activities that introduce participants to STEM. Hosted in six locations around our council, the BIG Event gives girls an opportunity to explore all the ways STEM interests can become a lifelong career.
Girl Scouts introduces girls of every age and their families to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), and helps them take action to change the world – whether they’re programming robots, building a bridge, learning code, caring for animals or piloting a flight simulator. Exhibitors should provide a hands-on activity for approximately 175 girls in grades K-12.
