Kirk Stueve is a Geography Professor at St. Cloud State University and has over a decade of experience using geospatial applications in academia, row crop farming, and product development for agricultural startup companies. He earned his Doctorate in Geography from Texas A&M University in 2009 and has authored publications in top journals such as Remote Sensing of EnvironmentEcology, and Landscape Ecology. Other academic endeavors include the development of GIS programs at 2- and 4-year universities across Minnesota and teaching multiple undergraduate and graduate courses in GIS, remote sensing, GPS, and spatial analysis.

Kirk jointly manages the family row crop farm and integrates the latest geospatial technologies into farm management practices and field-scale trials executed in concert with the Precision Agriculture Center at the University of Minnesota. Kirk has traveled across the conterminous United States to speak about AgTech and represented the startup company Ceres Imaging on an iHeart Radio podcast called Fields of Change that included guest commentary from the Director of Precision Agriculture at John Deere and a researcher with the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.
